Westpark CEO, Brian O’Connell reported, “Our tenant companies have hired up to 100 new staff since the start of January and with companies such as DHL EKAS and Pepper in expansion mode, we find ourselves very close to capacity, which is very welcome news, both for the local economy and for Westpark.”
He confirmed, “There are now in excess of 2,000 people working on campus across 50 plus companies.”
“Westpark has also signed agreements with a number of exciting new tenants in recent months the latest of which is Hubbell Global Operations, a large-scale global manufacturer of electrical and electronic products headquartered in Connecticut.”
“Hubbell has chosen Shannon and specifically Westpark as the site for a Centre of Excellence, providing them with a central location to capitalise on the global economy and international supply chain, making Westpark Shannon its first office location in Europe,” said O’Connell.
