Kilmurry Ibrickane will be without one of their starting fifteen for Sunday’s Munster SFC quarter-final with Dr Crokes.

Peter O’Dwyer lined out at full-forward for the Bricks as they overcame Cratloe in the Clare SFC Final replay to claim their fourteenth County title. His inclusion at the edge of the square caused problems for the opposition and he partnered Keelan Sexton in a two man full forward line.

However due to work commitments O’Dwyer will be forced to miss Sunday’s clash against the Kerry champions which takes place in Quilty at 1pm according to Clare FM.

Manager Aidan Moloney may be unable to call on Noel Downes to replace the thirty seven year old. Downes has been used as an impact substitution by Moloney this year and he pulled his hamstring last weekend and is currently in a battle to be fit for their provincial quarter-final.

This year the Bricks have been praised for the strength of their panel and on Sunday it will certainly be tested. Niall Hickey, Steven Moloney, Johnny Daly, Evan Talty, John McNamara and Thomas O’Connor will now be fighting for a starting position in the absence of O’Dwyer.
