The Killaloe unit of the Irish Coast Guard has towed a broken down cruiser to safety this evening.
The search and rescue team was called out following reports of a 26ft vessel in difficulty north of Twomilegate in East Clare.

The team launched their boat and made their way to the scene where they quickly located the vessel. There were two persons on board however they were found to be safe and well.
The cruise boat was towed to Killaloe where it was safely tied up.
