Lough Derg RNLI Fundraising Branch will hold its first RNLI Lough Derg Charity Cycle; a 130km cycle which circuits the beautiful Lough Derg, May 8 2022
The Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat was launched this afternoon to assist six people on a 37ft cruiser that had run aground north of Hare Island on the Co. Clare shore.
Clare County Council, in association with An Taisce, is urging people to spring into action and get involved in cleaning up the county as part of the annual National Spring Clean campaign.
The volunteer crew of the Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat was tasked this afternoon to investigate a report from a member of the public that a kayaker was in difficulty by Navigation Mark J, at the northern end of the lake.
