Two brothers, whose terminally-ill mother was cared for at Milford Hospital in Limerick, will take part in a popular cycling event to raise funds for the facility.

Funding of €182,000 recently allocated the Department of Transport will extend the EuroVelo cycling route into County Clare.

The ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle has announced the 2020 event is cancelled.  The event hosted in Ennis is the largest mass participation sport tourism event held in the region and is part of the country’s largest national cycling leisure series.

Tour de Munster has enjoyed another incredibly successful year with the 2019 charity cycle raising a phenomenal €316,254.86 for the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI) and individual beneficiaries.
