Divers from the Garda Water Unit have recovered the body of a man from the base of a cliff in Co Clare after a week of poor conditions hampered previous efforts.
A small team of former members of the Doolin unit of the Irish Coast Guard has been put together to respond to emergencies until a process of reinstating a fulltime service has been completed.
