Local radio in Clare is playing a vital role in disseminating information during the pandemic as more listeners tune in to their programmes, according to local TD Joe Carey.

The Government is working on establishing in a “robust” Covid-19 test and screening system for passengers Shannon Airport.

Grave concern has been expressed that Aer Lingus will axe transatlantic services from Shannon and relocate aircraft to the UK.

The possibility of transferring Shannon Heritage sites under the control of the local authority or the Office of Public Works must be “explored and supported” according to a Clare TD.
