Local radio in Clare is playing a vital role in disseminating information during the pandemic as more listeners tune in to their programmes, according to local TD Joe Carey.
The possibility of transferring Shannon Heritage sites under the control of the local authority or the Office of Public Works must be “explored and supported” according to a Clare TD.
Clare students who were forced to leave their campus accommodation at the University of Limerick (UL) due to the Covid-19 outbreak still do not know if their fees will be repaid – six weeks after the Governing Authority indicated they would “consider the matter”.
