Cocooning residents of an Adare sheltered housing development staged a charity walkathon within the grounds of their home this morning with the objective of staying active and positive while cocooning and to give back to the community.

The Mid-West Hospital Campaign group has initiated an appeal to the public for PPE supplies for the county's nursing home facilities. 

ABC Nutrition, a Shannon-based manufacturer of sports nutrition, weight management and lifestyle nutrition products, has made a donation of almost 2,000 ready-to-eat food pots to the Clare Covid-19 Community Response Forum.

University of Limerick students involved in contact tracing in the fight against COVID-19 have said that “the lists are long” but they are hoping to “make a difference”.
