Gardaí have confirmed that a body discovered on rocks on one of the Aran Islands last Friday is that of a man who fell into the sea in Clare two weeks earlier.
Gardaí are awaiting the results of DNA analysis to establish whether a body washed up on one of the Aran Islands yesterday is that of a man feared drowned off Co Clare.
The search continued over the weekend for a Russian man washed into the sea in Co Clare over a week ago with dozens of volunteers from Limerick joining the operation.
