A group whose aim is to ensure Shannon achieves its "full potential as a living town" has expressed concerned about the uncertainty surrounding the future of Shannon Heritage sites in the areas.
Following a recent board meeting and discussion with Shannon Group plc., Shannon Chamber has sought a meeting with Minister Catherine Martin to assess what can be done to keep Shannon Heritage visitor sites open year round.
The possibility of transferring Shannon Heritage sites under the control of the local authority or the Office of Public Works must be “explored and supported” according to a Clare TD.
Representatives from the Shannon Airport Group of Unions today called for immediate discussions with management in the Shannon Airport Authority (SAA) following the announcement that the company intends to cut by up to 20% until April 2023.
