Clare Cancer Support have been chosen by Clare Association Dublin as their beneficiary for the annual Martin Corry Memorial 10k charity walk
It takes place next Sunday beginning at Clasac, C.C.E. Alfie Byrne Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3. Sponsorship cards are available from any member of the Clare Association Dublin committee. To support the cause head to their official website where donations can be made.
Nominations are currently being accepted for Clare Person of the Year 2017. The winner will succeed Willie Keane who received the honour this year following in the footsteps of Marty Morrissey, Davy Fitzgerald and Ann Norton. A specially convened meeting of the association later this year will determine the winner, the deadline for nominations is October 27th. Proposers are asked to provide plenty of information on their chosen nominee.
Preparation is well underway on the publication of the Clare Association Dublin yearbook 2017. Submission of articles and photographs from the past and present that would be of interest to Clare readers at home and abroad are greatly welcome.
