Norton to turn on Christmas Lights in Ennis

The Christmas Lights in Ennis will be officially switched on at 5.00pm on Friday 25 November at Ennis Market.

Cllr Ann Norton, Mayor of the Municipal District of Ennis will perform the official switch-on while entertainment will be provided by Ennis National School and local Theatrical Group, Pantaloons.

In conjunction with the switch-on of the Christmas Lights, the Ennis Lions Club will launch its Yellow Ribbon Project in aid of Cahercalla Hospice.

Mayor Norton complimented the partnership approach adopted by Clare County Council and the local business community to making Ennis an ‘attractive shopping destination’ in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Minor traffic diversions may be in place on Lower Market Street from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on Friday 25 November.
