Rugby fans in Clare are set to get an early Christmas present with news that Ennis Rugby Club will welcome up to 1,000 supporters when Munster A take on Rotherham Titans in the British & Irish Cup next week.

Ennis RFC PRO Stuart Holly confirmed that the Munster stars will descend on the Showgrounds venue in Ennis on Sunday, December 18 at 2pm in what will be a massive opportunity for rugby fanatics in Co Clare to see up-and-coming stars — and those returning from injury — take to the pitch in the second round of the prestigious competition.
Munster A games over 2015/16 have seen the likes of Darren Sweetnam, Gerhard van den Heever, Duncan WIlliams, Andrew Conway, Alex Wootton, and Billy Holland star for the men in red.

Fans will be treated to top class rugby on the pitch as well as refreshments and merchandise on the sidelines with Diageo set to provide a drinks stand and Murphy BBQs providing delicious food. Hot whiskeys will be available for purchase as well as hot teas, coffees, snacks and drinks while Ennis 2016/17 merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Tickets are available at the gates and online (ticketmaster.ie) and cost €10 (adult), €3 (junior), €20 (family, 2 adult & 2 junior).
Parking will be available at the Showgrounds adjacent to the Rugby Club while all wheelchair users will have parking access, a dedicated steward to assist and a viewing area for the match outside the clubhouse.
