Semi-final time for dance star Aoibhín

It’s semi-final time in Dancing With the Star’s with Banner favourite Aoibhín Garrihy hoping to impress yet again.

Each couple will perform two dances this weekend giving each couple one more chance to earn enough points to try stay out of the dreaded dance off.

As usual, judges Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Julian Benson will have the final say as to who stays and who goes.

In keeping with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations each couple will dance to an Irish song, and viewers can look forward to another show stopping jacket from judge Julian as he celebrates St. Patrick’s Day in style. He will wear a specially designed hand embroidered creation from Claire Garvey.

Aoibhín is somewhat of a darling to the judges, she has consistently impressed them every week with performances that you would see on the professional circuit.

Vitali Kozmin and Aoibhin will be dancing Contemporary Ballroom to Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O’Connor

Aoibhín & Vitali will also dance the Charleston to Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx.

For all the behind the scenes action, tune in to RTÉ One every Friday night at 8.30pm for preview show Can’t Stop Dancing with host Bláthnaid Treacy.

Every week on Can’t Stop Dancing Bláthnaid gets the low down on all things glitter from the judges, the professional dancers and the stars. It’s a one-stop shop for getting all your Dancing with the Stars gossip!
