Midwest Simon is seeking support for their annual Corporate Sleep Out in Thomond Park on Novembers 18th.

The event aims to raise much needed funds for to cover the cost of operating Foodbanks throughout the region.

Jackie Bonfield said: “We need help to continue providing this service and ask you to raise up to €2,500 and join us at Thomond Park on Saturday November 18th.”

“When families, students, the unemployed, people on low incomes are struggling, food is the flexible item. They can’t cut back on rent / mortgage/ utility payments. food is where they cut!

During 2016 we distributed 56 tonnes of food, which equals 126,944 meals for 5,804 people, of which 3050 were children,” she said.

A once in a lifetime opportunity just added to the agenda for our Thomond Park Sleep Out! Participants will be invited on to the pitch for a place kick shoot out. The winner will take home a prize sponsored by the Clayton Hotel, Limerick
