Concern has been expressed that members of the public are presenting at pharmacies while experiencing symptoms of Covid-19.

In an end of year commentary, the Coast Guard has highlighted, that despite the impact of Covid-19, 2020 has proven to be a relatively busy year.

Clare County Council officials and project stakeholders recently attended a socially distanced site visit to Vandeleur Walled Garden in advance of the enabling works getting underway for the restoration and renovation of the old stable block.

The RNLI and Irish Coast Guard are appealing to the public to exercise caution when participating in any activity on and near the water during the Christmas and New Year period and at all times to be mindful of the  restrictions in place to deal with the COVID pandemic.

Online applications are now being invited for the Community Supports Scheme 2021, which will see just over €500,000 being awarded under 11 separate grant support categories.
