Gardaí conduct ‘Slow Down’ operation

An Garda Síochána will conduct a national speed enforcement operation "Slow Down”, supported by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) and other stakeholders, for a 24 hour period from 07.00hrs on Friday 26th March to 07.00hrs on Saturday 27th March.

New average speed safety cameras for M7

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), the Roads Safety Authority and An Garda Síochána have confirmed the installation of motorway average speed safety cameras. 

Garda house checks on Mandatory Self-Quarantine

Gardaí have confirmed  that they will be undertaking a series of house checks on people entering the State who are reported to as not engaging with the Department of Health monitoring process.
