The Shannon-based Irish Coast Guard helicopter undertook a long-range medevac (medical evacuation) mission of the southwest coast on yesterday afternoon. 

This afternoon the Defence Forces Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Seán Clancy and the General Officer Commanding Air Corps, Brigadier General Rory O’Connor attended the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Emergency Aeromedical Service in  Baldonnel Aerodrome.
