Lahinch’s Marie O Connor along with 12 other athletes from Dublin, Kildare, Cork, Tipperary, Galway, Clare and Roscommon will participate in The European Transplant and Dialysis Games to be held in Oxford UK from Sunday August 21st to 28th.
Volunteers from all around Clare came out on Saturday to take part in Clean Coasts and Fáilte Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way Community Clean-ups of Lahinch Beach in Clare.
Lahinch native, Pat Conway, is currently in training for the annual Lahinch to Liscannor Swim. Pat started this swim way back in 1972 and has organised, fundraised and swam it for the past 49 years.

Two well-known Clare heritage sites, St Flannan's Church of Ireland Cathedral and Frawley's Bar in Lahinch and have been awarded funding to conserve notable historic structures.
