Clare have been drawn to play Limerick in Round 2 of the All-Ireland Hurling Qualifiers.

Fresh from annihilating Laois by thirty five points in what was the County’s biggest ever championship win Davy Fitzgerald’s side will have to prepare themselves for a much stiffer test against TJ RYan’s Limerick.

The Treaty County overcame the challenge of Westmeath at the weekend with nine points to spare. They finished with fourteen men following the dismissal of Seanie O’Brien.

In the other side of the draw Cork will play Wexford. The Rebels had a narrow victory over Dublin in Round One while Wexford had too much for Offaly.

Fixture details will be released this afternoon and will be posted on The Clare Herald.
