Revenue officers based at Shannon Airport have seized assorted drugs worth an estimated €220,000 at Shannon Airport in the past fortnight.
The illicit drugs, were discovered as a result of risk profiling, in parcels originating in the USA, Canada and Europe and destined for addresses in Limerick, Galway and Cork.
The illicit drugs seized include 7kgs of herbal cannabis; cannabis infused Jellies and psychoactive substances.

A spokesperson for Revenue said no further information is available and that investigations are ongoing.
