TUI has confirmed plans to operate a direct flight from Shannon Airport to the Balearic Island of Majorca for Summer 2025,
The global travel and leisure company already flies from Shannon to Lanzarote and Costa Dorada during the summer months.
The new weekly service will operate every Tuesday from the 6th May 2025 until the 16th September 2025, allowing holidaymakers throughout the west of Ireland the opportunity to discover the largest of the Balearic Islands from their local airport.
Majorca is an all-round summer staple, home to golden sand beaches, hidden coves and picturesque harbours. The historic charm of Palma can be discovered through its vibrant local markets, ancient castles and picturesque streets. In welcoming the TUI announcement Declan Power, Head of Aviation Development says that the summer 2025 programme is welcome news for holidaymakers flying from Shannon with a wide range of TUI family properties available from their local airport. Holidaymakers can now take advantage of three weekly departures to Lanzarote, Majorca and Costa Dorada as well as TUI city breaks to both Paris and New York.
