The M18 has reopened following an earlier collision near Crusheen.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at around 1.15pm in the southbound lanes of the motorway at Derrygarriff about a kilometre north of junction 15 at Crusheen.
Units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis station responded to the incident along with crews from Galway Fire and Rescue Service based in Gort.
The National Ambulance Service and Gardaí also attended the scene.
The female driver was assessed at the scene by ambulance paramedics but didn’t need to travel to hospital. It’s understood her car collided with a crash barrier.
