An Mháthair is produced by Grace Odumosu (Minding) for Keeper Pictures, with Yvonne Donohoe and Katie Holly serving as executive producers.

An Mháthair is funded by Tg4, Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and Northern Irish Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund as part of the Ceim Eile funding scheme.

“An Mháthair has been an incredibly personal project to bring to life. We hope the film draws audiences in with its tension and mounting urgency, while also opening up a conversation about unchecked violence in our society and the system that struggles to answer it. I’m very proud of what we’ve created with this phenomenal cast and crew.” – Vincent Gallagher, Director.
