Earlier:
The family of Limerick woman Maria Hennigar have appealed for help in the search for the 35-year-old.
Gardaí in Ennistymon had earlier this week appealed for assistance in locating Maria who has been missing from Doolin since early this month.
Maria is described as 5’7″, brown hair, blue/green eyes and of medium build. She was last seen at Doonmacphelim, Doolin sometime around the first week in November 2016.
She has been living in the Doolin area for the past six months and was missed by a concerned neighhour who reported not having seen here for a time, probably three weeks.
Maria’s family have asked any members of the public who can offer some time to help with searches to meet this morning at Doolin Coast Guard station.
People are advised to dress appropriately for rough terrain and cold weather conditions.
Coast Guard volunteers carried out a search of the coastline along the Cliffs of Moher early on Friday.
Anyone who may have seen Maria or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact Ennistymon Garda station on 065 7072180, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
