Clare County Council is encouraging members of the public to view the newly published 2017/2018 Register of Electors to ensure they are correctly listed.
Members of the public can check their details online at www.checktheregister.ie or on Clare County Council’s website, www.clarecoco.ie. If your name is not included you can complete the RFA2 for first time applicants or RFA3 for change of address.
The Register will be used in the event of any elections or referenda being held between 15th February 2017 and 14th February 2018.
In order to be included on the Register of Electors; You must be at least 18 years old on the day the register comes into force (15th February), Have been ordinarily resident in the state on 1st September in the year preceding the coming into force of the register, You may be registered for one address only.
