A man and woman are recovering in hospital after they were injured in a road traffic collision near Miltown Malbay this morning.
The two-car crash happened at around 10.45am on the R474 Miltown Malbay to Ennis road. The cars collided on a hill and bend about five kilometres from Miltown Malbay.

Two ambulances and two units of the fire brigade from Ennistymon responded to the incident which resulted in the road being closed for a time.
The drivers of both cars were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment. Neither is believed to have suffered life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
