VIDEO: 24 hours in Irish airspace

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has released this impressive video which documents 24 hours in Irish airspace.

The IAA is a commercial semi-state company employing approximately 670 people at six main locations in Ireland including Shannon Airport, Ballycasey (Shannon) and Ballygirreen, Newmarket on Fergus.

The IAA’s North Atlantic Communications Centre at Ballygirreen provides communications services on the eastern half of the North Atlantic.

It is known as Shannon Aeradio or Shanwick Radio (ICAO Code: EIAA). Approximately 70 personnel are employed at the North Atlantic Communications centre, including over 50 Radio Officers with the remainder involved in management, engineering, administration and other services.
