Hospitality and tourism sector from all over Clare will gather for a Tourism Networking Evening at The Inn in Dromoland from 6.15pm to 8.45pm on Thursday 28 February 2019.
Organised by Clare County Council, in association with Clare Tourism, the free business-to-business event will provide tourism providers with the opportunity to showcase their respective operations to the wider County Clare tourism Industry.
The event will also feature a number of presentations from tourism sector representatives. Jennifer Houliellebecq of TEAM Tourism & Consulting will provide a progress update on the new Tourism Strategy for County Clare which is being developed by Clare County Council, Eoin O’Hagan will provide a sector update as Chair of Clare Tourism, and Margaret Jenkins of Fáilte Ireland will provide advice for attendees on how to leverage business
Speaking ahead of the networking event, Clare County Council Tourism Officer Joan Tarmey said, “We are inviting all tourism operators in the county to attend on the night. This is a really good opportunity for representatives of the local sector to work together to increase tourism business in the County.”
She continued, “Networking events such as this help consolidate Clare’s growing status as a competitive and appealing destination to both domestic and international visitors alike. This event also helps to promote collaboration between our members and other agencies involved in the promotion of tourism at home and abroad.”
