Co Clare received a tourism lift this week as representatives from Chinese airline companies stopped in the County as part of a visit along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Described as a ‘major international boost’ The Wild Atlantic Way, and Co Clare played host to representatives from Chinese airline companies. As guests of Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland, the group visited the Cliffs of Moher as part of a week-long showcase of Ireland.
Head of International Promotions for Fáilte Ireland, Ciara Sugrue told The Clare Herald “This is all about encouraging potential visitors to move Ireland up their ‘bucket list’ in other words not to come here someday but to actually come here today. These trips are a wonderful opportunity for international agents to come and experience at first hand the Wild Atlantic Way and they are pivotal to positioning this Irish attraction in front of a global audience.”
