Air services at Shannon Airport are set to double from eight to sixteen in time for the lifting of the non-essential travel ban on the 19th July with a significant increase in destinations, services and frequencies.

The Mayor of the City and County of Limerick Cllr Daniel Butler has called on the government to appoint a new chairperson of the Shannon Group immediately.
