With a high-temperature weather advisory issued across the country, Irish Water is continuing to urge the public to conserve water to ensure a consistent supply for all during this busy time. Demand for drinking water has increased significantly in many supplies across Clare.

Miltown Malbay watermains replacement completed

Clare Independent TD Michael McNamara has received confirmation that the watermain between Mullagh to Miltown has been replaced and works will commence very shortly on repairing affected road surfaces in the area.

New wastewater treatment plant for Liscannor

Works to end the long running practice of discharging raw sewage into Liscannor Bay are due to get underway in the coming months following the appointment of a contractor to construct a new wastewater treatment plant.

Waterworks require Sixmilebridge road closure

Irish Water, working in partnership with Clare County Council advises that essential works on the R642 at Ballyliddan West, Sixmilebridge require a road closure of this road from 09.00am on Friday June 25 until Saturday evening 26 June.
