19 potters lined up for Clare Potter’s Market 2025

The Clare Potter’s Market, now in its fourth year, will take place during the weekend of June 21st and 22nd.

The event will be hosted in the picturesque venue within the quaint 17th century farmyard at Ballymorris Pottery in County Clare and will feature a total 19 potters from across the country, showcasing an impressive array of work from stoneware functional ranges to one-off sculptural pieces.

From wacky houses, beautiful flowers, colourful tiles and bowls that begged to be used, the range is impressive and delightful.

This year, the event is pleased to welcome Limerick Ceramic Artists, a who will present a pop-up exhibition of exceptional ceramic pieces. Established in 2011, this group supports and develops the creativity of ceramic artists throughout the mid-west region and this exhibition is set to showcase their most innovative works.

Hannah Arnup and Ballymorris Pottery colleague Jean, the organisers, said, “We thoroughly enjoy organising this special event. It highlights the finest ceramics and pottery in the region. The atmosphere is always supportive when so many creative individuals come together. This year will be particularly special with the participation of the Limerick Ceramic Artists.”

Last year’s event was a great success with over 1000 visitors, this year promises to be even more exciting for those who love clay in all its forms.
