A black-tie gala charity ball hosted by the National Association of General Practitioners took place recently with all funds raised going towards Mid West Simon.
The Strand Hotel hosted the inaugural ball. It started with a drinks reception followed by dinner and live music by Sugar Factory. Keanes Jewellers and Dromoland Castle, boutiques and restaurants provided spot prizes on the night while Lyons in Limerick offered a three-month lease on a new Jaguar as a prize.
All proceeds will benefit the Mid West Simon Community. The organising committee have offered their thanks to Duncan Casey and his Munster teammates for lending their support and being present at the NAGP ball. Appreciation was also expressed to local businesses who pledged their support.
