Gallagher’s Seafood Restaurant, Bunratty have been announced as one of three winners of ‘Best Seafood Restaurant’ in The National Hospitality Awards 2016.
The winners were announced at the Hospitality Ireland Conference and Gala Lunch on the 7th of November at the InterContinental Hotel Dublin. Gallagher’s Seafood Restaurant, Bunratty were one of three winners of ‘Best Seafood Restaurant’ along with The Idle Wall in Westport, with the overall award going to O’Grady’s on the Pier Restaurant in Bearna.
Other county Clare winners included Red Cliff Lodge, Spanish Point for ‘Best Dining Experience’ and Crotty’s, Kilrush for ‘Best Traditional Pub’.
Now in its 11th year, the National Hospitality Awards have grown to hold a pre-eminent place within the hospitality industry in Ireland. With new categories added regularly, in order to keep pace with a changing industry, the NHA are a distinctive and handsome recognition of the efforts of the very best in the business. The awards are judged by industry professionals, to a rigorous standard, and evidence that an establishment has really got it right, both front and back of house.
This National Hospitality Award adds to Gallagher’s Seafood Restaurant awards as ‘Best Restaurant in Clare’ by the Restaurant Association of Ireland in 2010 and 2014.
