The Clare/Tipperary Garda Division is set to get a new Chief Superintendent.
Chief Superintendent Aileen Magner has been transferred to Ennis Garda Station where she will be based and have responsibility for Clare / Tipperary Garda Division.
Chief Superintendent Magner, from Kilfinane in Limerick, was formerly a Superintendent in Newcastle West Co Limerick and Henry Street in Limerick City. When promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent, she was transferred to the Dublin Dublin Metropolitan Region.
Chief Superintendent Colm O’Sullivan has been transferred to Thurles Garda Station where he has taken up his new role as Regional Chief Superintendent for the Southern Region.
Chief Superintendent Colm O’Sullivan had previously served as Superintendent in Ennistymon District.
The transfers of Chief Superintendents took effect from 11th December 2023.
