Following the recent cancellation of transatlantic services from Ireland by a number of other carriers, Aer Lingus has launched special Autumn fares to North America, starting from just €139*.
The move follows the axing by Norwegian Air International of its transatlantic routes from Dublin, Shannon and Cork.
Aer Lingus operates 16 direct routes between Ireland and North America flying to New York up to four times daily, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Los Angeles, to name but a few. Just last month Ireland’s only 4 Star airline commenced a brand new route to Minneapolis-St Paul direct from Dublin.
Aer Lingus has undergone its largest ever transatlantic expansion and in the previous four years alone has launched seven new direct transatlantic services to Los Angeles, Newark, Hartford, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle and now Minneapolis-St. Paul, proving that the demand among Irish travellers to jet off to far-flung destinations remains strong.
