Bank Holiday Weekend activities in the Burren

This Bank Holiday Weekend, you can explore the beauty and fascination of some of the smallest and often overlooked creatures in the Burren National Park.

On Saturday 1st June a Mini Beast Hunt will begin at 10.15am and will last 1-1.5 hours. It is suitable for young children (aged 5 to 12) however children must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors can take the free bus from the Information Point in Corofin at 10.00. You are also advised to dress appropriately for the weather and terrain.

On Sunday 2nd June, join the free guided walk along the Nature Trail in the Burren National Park and discover a variety of habitats such as native hazel woodland, wildflower meadows and iconic limestone pavement.

This is a 1.5km looped walk starting at the trailhead at 14:15 and lasting approximately 1.5-2 hours. Visitors can take the free bus from the Information Point in Corofin at 14.00. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain.
