The Aillwee ‘Falcons’ will take on the Cliffs of Moher ‘Ravens’ in a charity soccer match at Lisdoonvarna community pitch tomorrow evening at 8pm.
The event has been organised to raise funds for the Doolin volunteer unit of the Irish Coast Guard.
The Cliffs of Moher and Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre are synonymous with The Burren and North Clare Tourism Industry.
Both attractions’ staff members welcome their visitors warmly while educating everyone about the geological features, flora, fauna and wildlife of this unique region. Both boast some wonderful landscapes; coastal sandstone, limestone karst, over and underground.
And now, both teams are ready to take to Lisdoonvarna Community Pitch and finally reveal who has the upper hand when it comes to sporting soccer prowess!!
This will be the first ever head-to-head of two very capable teams as they battle it out to become inaugural Champions in what is sure to be a hotly contested battle for Burren supremacy.
Everyone is more than welcome to come and watch the match. Kick Off at The Lisdoonvarna Community Pitch is 8pm on Thursday, June 15th.
Minute raffle tickets, at €10 each, include a chance to win €250 and other great prizes. These are available from Aillwee and Cliffs of Moher staff.
