Gardaí have arrested man after he was seen acting suspiciously in a North Clare town yesterday.
Gardaí attached to Ennistymon Garda Station were conducting proactive patrols on Wednesday morning when they stopped a man in the town they observed to been acting suspiciously.
The man was searched and later, during the execution of a warrant at a property in North Clare, Gardaí seized suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €8,000.

A man in his 40s was arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in County Clare.
The seized drugs will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
