Gardai in Ennistymon are investigating an incident of robbery from a shop at the weekend.
The incident occurred at around 4.50pm on Sunday 26th November at the Daybreak shop on the Lahinch Road in Ennistymon. A staff member was threatened with a screwdriver.
Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of the incident and have issued an appeal for witnesses.

A Garda spokesperson said: “If there were any witnesses to this incident or if anyone noticed anything suspicious in the Ennistymon area around this time or has any information in relation to this incident they can contact Kilrush Garda Station on 065-9050880 or any Garda station.”
