Gardaí are investigating a violent incident which occurred at a filling station in North Clare last week.
The incident occurred in Ennistymon on Friday and involved three people.
The incident happened at the Circle K garage forecourt on the Ennis road in Ennistymon, shortly before midday on Friday March 13th. A hatchet was produced during the course of the incident.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses following the alleged ‘incident of affray’.
Gardaí have confirmed that two suspects have been identified while investigating members are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the third suspect.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Anyone who may have seen the incident, or who may have information on the third suspect, is asked Ennistymon Gardaí on 065 707 2180. Investigations are ongoing.”
