Gardaí seek information on recent incidents

Gardaí are seeking the public’s help following a number of recent incidents of burglary and criminal damage across the county.

Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a burglary at Alagha, Tulla on Saturday evening between 4pm and 5pm. The perpetrators gained entry to the house by breaking the glass on the rear door. A white Ford Fiesta van was observed in the area with two males on-board.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed this vehicle or spoken to the occupants, have CCTV or dash-cam footage of them to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.

Meanwhile, Gardaí in Shannon are appealing for the public’s assistance regarding a burglary that occurred on the outskirts of Newmarket on Fergus in the early hours of Monday morning between 2am and 7.15am.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have travelled the road from exit 11 on the M18 to Newmarket on Fergus during this time to contact them if they saw any vehicles, people on the road or have dash-cam footage to contact us at Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.

Shannon Gardaí are also investigating two incidents of criminal damage to vehicles. The first crime occurred in Bru Na Sionna in the early hours of Saturday morning between 4.30am and 5.30am.  The side window and ignition of a white Toyota Vitz Hatchback was damaged.

Similarly Shannon Gardaí are investigating another incident in the Drumgeeley area.  This incident occurred between Friday afternoon at 3pm and Saturday afternoon at 1.30pm. A window and ignition in a white Toyota Aqua was damaged. Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have seen anyone or any suspicious vehicles in the area at that time to contact Gardaí at Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.

In Killaloe, Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance following a number of Thefts in their area. The first incident occurred in the O’Sheas Acres area of Broadford on Friday afternoon, 26th January between 2pm and 3pm. On this occasion the owner confronted two men who subsequently left the scene in a white Ford Fiesta van.

The second incident takes us to Ballyquinn in Broadford. Gardaí are investigating the theft of a number of batteries and cable from a yard between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening. Again we are looking for any information the public may have in relation to the two men seen in the area in a white Ford Fiesta van.

And, Gardaí in Sixmilebridge are investigating the theft of a number of items from a shed in the Church Street area of Sixmilebridge on Tuesday night / Wednesday morning 23rd 24th of January.
