Ennis Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in the town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning last.
The injured party, a male in his 20’s, was on Abbey Street at around at 2.10am when an unknown male approached him and punched him while he was outside a local pharmacy.
The suspected offender fled the scene on foot.

The injured party was hurt and disorientated and later received medical attention.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was in town on Saturday night, early hours of Sunday morning and who may have witnessed this assault outside the pharmacy on Abbey Street, to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.
