Clare Civil Defence deployed drones again today as the search for missing Lissycasey man David McMahon continues.
Members from Civil Defence’s technical branch based in the Phoenix Park in Dublin along with members of Dublin Civil Defence have also been assisting in the search effort.
Clare Civil Defence have been assisting Gardaí and the Irish Coast Guard with the search since Saturday and deployed three remotely operated drones that can reach inaccessible areas including sea caves and hidden shoreline.
Divers from the Garda Water Unit along with personnel from the volunteer Burren Sub Aqua Club and members of Ballybunnion Coast Guard are also involved in the operation.
33-year-old David McMahon hasn’t been seen since last Friday and concerns for his safety were raised by his family.
