Three people escaped serious injury this afternoon following a two-car collision near Inagh.
The crash occurred at around 2.00pm on the N85 Ennis to Ennistymon road about two kilometres from Inagh when two vehicles collided head-on. It’s understood that weather conditions in the area and in many parts of the country were poor at the time.

Two ambulances and a rapid response advanced paramedic unit and gardaí responded to the incident. Fire crews from Ennistymon and Ennis also attended the incident.
It’s understood there was an elderly couple in one car and a single occupant in the other. All three assessed at the scene by paramedics while one was taken to hospital for further assessment.
