Gardaí are investigating a fire at a halting site on the Quin Road in Ennis this morning.
The blaze was reported shortly after 8am at Ballaghboy on the outskirts of the town. It’s understood that a mobile home was destroyed in the incident.
Units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis station responded to the scene along with Gardaí and National Ambulance Service paramedics.
The mobile home was unoccupied at the time and no injuries have been reported.
Members of the Clare Divisional Crime Scene Investigation have also attended the scene.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí were alerted to a fire at a residential premises on Quin Road in Ennis, Co. Clare that occurred shortly before 9:00am this morning, Friday 19th December 2025.
A technical examination of the scene has been completed by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit. Investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.”
