A motorist was left trapped in his overturned car this morning following a single-vehicle accident in Dysert.
The alarm was raised at around 6.10am when emergency services received a report of a car on its roof in a field near near Dysert church.
Two units of the fire brigade and an ambulance from Ennis along with gardaí responded to the scene. On arrival, emergency crews found a man in his 60’s trapped in his vehicle. The car is understood to have lost control and crashed down an embankment into a field where it came to a stop in its roof.
