Three people were taken to hospital this morning following a road traffic collision near Doonbeg.
The incident involved two vehicles and happened shortly after 7.00am on the N67 Kilkee to Quilty road close to Doonbeg Golf Club.
Units of the fire brigade from Kilkee and Kilrush along with ambulances responded to the scene.
It’s understood that the collision occurred at a junction and that one of the vehicles left the road and came to a stop in a ditch.
Three people sustained minor injuries are were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
Gardaí from Kilrush are investigating the collision.
