Clare’s Irish Red Cross celebrated a new chapter at the weekend as they opened their new training unit along with multi-purpose community support vehicle.

It comes on the back of years of fundraising which first began in 2012. Gradually over time through the Tour of Clare, initiatives with primary schools in the County, a grant from the National Lottery and the support of GAA clubs in Clare, the Irish Red Cross in Clare were able to secure the new vehicle. Works were completed on the Mercedes Sprinter EX LWB at a cost of €86,000.
